My Someone

I don’t have much to say today.  I’m exhausted from taking on my usual fitness classes plus subbing 3 additional for an out-of-town instructor.  It was fun, but I feel like all I’ve seen this week is my car, the gym, the shower and the bed.  That doesn’t leave a lot of room for “together” with the Mrs.

What I can say though is how grateful I am to have someone who’s willing to step up and take over the things I normally handle at home when I’m not here to handle them.  Someone who recognizes my exhaustion and says, “sleep!”  Not everyone is so lucky and too often those who are (like myself) take it for granted.

So today I encourage you to notice the little things your spouse is doing to help you make it from one day to the next.  The unspoken aid they provide that would be missed if they were gone.  Today – be thankful for your someone.
