I came across this in TimeHop the other day and still found the idea to be so profound. I think it’s obvious that we trade time for dollars, but how many of us stop to think about that time as we’re handing those dollars over to purchase something we might be willing to give up in exchange for more free time?
This idea is certainly what has gotten us where we are today. We’ve sacrificed some luxuries in order to have more time at home with our daughter. She’s 11 now and that time has gone by SO fast. I can only imagine how different our relationship would be if we hadn’t been home to watch her grow up.
Are the things you’re spending money on the things you’d be willing to give up time for?
