Downward Fish

Today I tried SUP Yoga for the first time.  SUP = Stand Up Paddling if you haven’t picked up on that from my previous posts.  I barely do yoga on land, so moving it to a floating board on the water was a fun challenge.  The core and focus it takes to not fall off the board, much less hold the pose, was intense.  I’m pretty sure I’m going to be sore tomorrow, but what a great way to start the day.  It was at 8am when the lake was peaceful and still.  We heard nothing but nature for the hour we were out there.  It was an awesome and ironic 180 from my first on-land yoga class / open house last week.
